In the Outreach Crew, we like to volunteer a couple of time a week at various places. We go to help in a聽CSA style garden in Morgantown and since the beginning of 2022 we also help at Trotwood’s Eden, a boarding stable close聽to Beaver Farm in Chester Springs. Alumni Student Jennett鈥檚 family is running the farm. We get to do a聽variety of tasks every week, from dusting the barn, their big indoor riding ring to picking up sticks,聽branches, and leaves or many other tasks that have come up throughout the year. 聽
Shannon and Colin have been going every week since the beginning of this school year. Shannon loves聽being around horses and really likes coming to help out. She does some horseback riding on the聽weekend, so getting the opportunity to work and help at a horse farm at school has been great for her. 聽
